The Busy Person's Project Management BookTip: Stakeholder CommunicationsAs a project manager, your stakeholders are your most important concern in your project. While you have some ability to lead and influence you team members, your ability to lead your stakeholders is limited as, typically, they do not work "for" you. More projects have failed because of poor stakeholder relationship management than any other cause. You must always communicate with stakeholders, keeping them informed of how your project is proceeding, what services you need from them and when you need those services. You can never over communicate with stakeholders. |
