Introduction To The Course
In the 21st century, business analysis is about:
- Understanding of the problem rather than focussing on solutions;
- The business rationale - the cost-benefit issues of a project; and
- The human dimension of the proposal - the clients, the customers, the stakeholders.
The understanding gained by the business analyst through analysing and modelling the current and proposed business processes is used to develop benefits, costs and other project justification models to support a rigorous project Business Case. This workshop focuses on effective analysis and modelling of the business problem and business process dynamics, to provide detailed project objectives, system requirements, business process analysis and cost-benefit analysis.
Participant Pre-requisitesNo technical knowledge in any discipline is required for the workshop, nor is any previous business analysis experience required.
Course Material
